Essex Rivers Hub

The bankside vegetation is very dense in places with mature trees and bramble so that the channel is heavily shaded.

This area could benefit from long term management so that bankside trees are coppiced on rotation so that areas are opened up allowing different vegetation to develop both on the banks and in the channel.
