Essex Rivers Hub

The channel is becoming clogged with vegetation below the Ingrebourne marshes causing increasing levels of flooding preventing the area being grazed. Removal of some in channel vegetation and trees would improve flow to lower sections and allow lower wetlands areas to be preserved.

Some small engineering works may also be required to open up existing drainage areas to allow better flooding of lower wetland areas.
