Essex Rivers Hub

This part of the brook is bordered by houses on the west bank and arable land on the right bank. The bankside could be improved and the channel has little inchannel variation.

This area would benefit from installing woody debris to create inchannel habitats and to improve the buffer strips through better management and increasing their range. The buffer strips will improve bankside habitats and reduce the impact of overland runoff, especially from the arable land.
